CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS: Suzy, @LutherLiz, Rosie, Janet, and Erin. I will contact you today for your information!
I am all about making small choices that make big differences. Not just food-wise, but in other areas. For example, I’ve switched to natural peanut butter and almond butter instead of processed peanut butter. I don’t buy water bottles and reuse the BPA free water bottles that we have. I HATE to buy water bottles. We use recycled bags for our grocery bags now.
I am working on making small healthy choices in my diet too. Like drinking more water, eating more fruits and vegetables and cutting out the crap. One of the healthy choices I am making is to consciously add more fiber to my diet, including taking FiberChoice supplements. They taste good and I know it helps.
So, what small choices have you made to create a healthier life?
Post a comment on Redefining Suzi about the small choices you make for better health and how winning would help you reach your goal of recharging your health routine.
5 winners will be selected at random to win a $50 Visa Gift Card!
I will announce the winners on Friday, November 11th.
Good Luck!

i am going to take our puppy on a good walk at least 3 days a week
Setting big-picture exercise goals and working toward them slowly: a triathlon and a half marathon this year – done!
I gave up soda several months ago. Now I’m focused on cutting back sugar.
I do my best to make sure I have plenty of veggies in my diet. They’re good for me & they make me feel good. Winning would help me because it would give me something to buy them with.
I’ve been keeping track of what I eat and counting calories. I also drink more water.
Trying to stay away from Halloween candy! And drinking more water.
I bought a new reusable water bottle that I can sip out of and that has a clip so I can attach to a bag when I do not have space to carry in a bag or a free hand – this makes it more portable. Also, I’m way more selective when I have a “treat” – I decide whether the taste and quality of what I’m eating is worth the extra calories – meaning no more snacking on the cheap cookies my husband likes to have around the house!
I started doing yoga to give me a time to relax while getting a little bit of exercise. If I won I would get some running shoes, because I’d love to start running too
Following the example of my kids. My 8 year olds favorite drink is water (“because it has no taste”). I am cutting down on the soda and adding water! Another habit of both my kids is to stop eating when full. They will not, for example, not finish candy or treats if they are full. I can’t seem to not empty my plate even when full. That has to change!!!!
I have been trying to drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday starting right when I wake up. I also am trying to share a meal or only eat half of it when we’re at a restaurant. I’m also trying hard to track what I eat. I want to get a new workout video and/or a kettle ball so I’d use this giftcard for that.
My small choices are simply this… learning to say “no” when I don’t have the time. Ordering water at dinner instead of my diet pepsi. going for a walk when I feel like plopping down on the couch. These two things are small but huge for me…
I’m cutting back on soda. I’m also working out every weekend.
i’ve been drinking more water and paying more attention to nutrition facts!

I try very hard to keep active and walk weather permitting. I also drink lots of water and keep track of my food intake, and I include multi vitamins. It is hard to maintain a lower weight at my age (65) but it helps me to feel strong and healthy. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to comment and participare in this great fiveaway.
I’ve been drinking more water, trying to snack on fruits instead of junk food, and I’ve been walking daily (weather permitting). If I won, I would buy some more vitamins and protein-rich foods to help me in my health routine.
Thanks for the chance!
I wish I could edit my comment. My username came out wrong. It should be Mami2jcn. Thanks!
The small choices for my health would be to eat more raw fruits and veggies daily and I have seen large changes just by doing that. Also taking quality multivitamins, probiotics, and hopefully I can now add some prebiotics! Thanks for this splendid giveaway
My small choices have led to big changes! I park farther from stores to get more walking in. I set the alarm to get to the gym for a full workout atleast 5 days a week. I track my water intake to make sure I am getting atleast 8 glasses a day thanks to my kermit reuseable water bottle and it has been changing my life one little piece at a time!
